Committees & More

Social: From planning networking events, happy hours, dining out and other social events, the Social Committee is a great way to get involved and meet people!  Chairs – Lenny Greenblatt and Emily Schachtel

Volunteering:  Make a difference in the community through your own actions.  Get involved by doing – it's fun, it's easy and makes a profound impact on the world! Chairs –  Lenny Greenblatt and Jonathan Krug

Day of Miracles: This Federation-wide volunteer event is traditionally chaired by a member of YAD, and we bring out a large contingent every year to help out the cause.  Help put on one of the Federation's biggest events of the year!  Chairs – Craig and Danielle Storch

Gesher City Clusters: Join other local Jews who share your interests, from sports, to movies and books, to wine tasting and running — and a whole lot more. Gesher City Cluster Coordinator – Scott Brockman

Evening at Sea Event Committee: Evening at Sea is our largest annual event, and you can help plan it!  The sunset cruise is an evening of music, food, and drinks including hundreds of other young Jewish adults.  This event is a great way to learn about the mission of YAD as we bring our community together for a wonderful evening!  Chair –Alyson Seligman

Ben-Gurion Society (BGS): Get in on the ground floor as we create an active national Ben Gurion Society within our Federation.  Be a part of this dynamic group and help plan BGS-exclusive events.  Members of the Ben-Gurion Society are YAD donors, who make at least a $1,000 gift to the Jewish Federation's Annual Campaign. YAD Marketing: Use your marketing talents to help promote YAD.  Spread the word. If you've got experience in: marketing, PR, advertising, web, event planning - then this is the right committee for you!  Chair –  Alyson Seligman

Travel, Missions & Conferences:  Will you be among the nearly 3,000 young Jewish professionals that participate in national conferences throughout the year?   Will you join us for Israel 1 or the Pesach Project?  Will you be in Nashville in 2007 for the GA?  Help make our community's participation in these conferences a great success!
